Special Thanks to
our partners in the 2010 Census |
 |
The Census
will count the residents of our community in
March 2010,
collecting information through a 10-question
survey mailed to
each household. The survey takes 10
minutes to
complete, and all information is
confidential—
no government or
private entity can access your responses.
The information
gathered by the census is used to make
important
decisions about political representation,
federal
funds, and
services like public transportation,
housing, and
schools. Census
data will be used to determine investment
in Central Texas
for the next 10 years! |
In 2008 alone,
federal program officers used census data to
allocate $30 billion in federal funds to
Texas.
It’s easy, safe,
and important to our community. We need to
make sure everyone is counted!
